作品說明：
意涵學校之源流，學子之「飲水思源」。所以作品創作主要來自學校歷史淵源之人文特色與學校校徽「北辰眾星拱、屯譽滿大墩」。作品整體設計以可親近性、富童趣為主要造型，並與環境結合，融入北屯人文歷史元素，塑造出與社區共享的藝術空間。此外，作品更融入街道家具的設計概念，讓群眾可以休憩於上，亦藉此創造出校園更人性化、更藝術化的教學活動場所。

Introduction：
“Origins” is designed to show the sources of the school, and it reminds us of the root of today’s happiness. The idea of this sculpture originates from the the school motto, which shows how the Polaris (Beitun Elementary School) is admired by the stars (its community) and receives tremendous praise in Datum (Taichung). The artist integrates local elements into his work ingeniously in the hope of attractting children’s attention and creating a friendly entertaining area for the community.Moreover, through “origins,” the artist wishes to offer a more lively and artistic space for teachers and students.
