“Light up my lovely hometown” is an installation art project created by artists and the third grade students from Tungshih Elementary School. Under the artists’ guide, local students discovered the beauty of their hometown through field research. After the provoking research, students transformed their findings into a creation of ceramic stamps with visual symbols of Tungshih. The artists then created the slab artworks that depicted the images of students’ ceramic stamps. These lovely pieces entitled” Light up my lovely hometown” brought local culture to life.
