孔明鎖

作品說明：
「孔明鎖」是一種利用中國傳統「卡榫」原理製造的益智玩具，無論拆開或組合都需要耗費一番腦力。作品「孔明鎖」外觀像是代表未知數的符號「X」，而調查局抽絲剝繭追查事實真相的過程，就像是解開這個方程式未知數「X」。另一方面，「孔明鎖」裝置在水池上方，隱含著真相終究會「水落石出」的意涵。

Introduction：
Kong－Ming Lock is an intelligence toy based on the principle of traditional Chinese mortise and tenon joint technology. It requires a bit of thought whether being dismantled and reassembled. The lock is shaped like the letter X which symbolizes the unknown. The painstaking process the Investigation Bureau uses to discover the truth in an investigation is similar to that required to figure out the value of X in an equation. Moreover, Kong－Ming Lock is placed over a pond in reference to the Chinese phrase shui luo shi chu ("；When the water recedes, the rock surfaces."；), which means truth will ultimately be revealed.
