The work, Music Notes on Treetops, is an interpretation of the imagination of warmth and leisure with colors and nature interlacing with each other. It echoes the entire environmental ambience through timber, round dots, sunlight, sound, theaters, and dynamics. “Round” represents the fate that forms a family, the harmonious warmth, and a sleek visual language in nature. The large oval-shaped hollow gaps that gradually change in size simulate wisps of light through the spacing between leaves when one looks up at the treetops. The gaps that change in size and the layers of the oval tree crowns are interwoven into the rhythm of nature, the cadence of warm light, and the concerto of home. As the changes from dawn to dusk, the round light dots are decorated on the white tree trunks, which renders the tree crowns with color like composing endless music -- a march for life belonging to Ren-ai Senior Citizens’ Home. Unlimited seating means unlimited interchanging, unlimited chating, and unlimited at all times. The terrazzo seats that fit ergonomics, with colorful blotches showing ripples of light, are the seats for an everyday rendezvous for the elderly recalling the good old days, for staff members having work discussion, and for folks who need a short break. They are the most popular spots in Ren-ai Senior Citizens’ Home.
