獅威、虎嘯

作品說明：
部隊主要任務為新兵訓練，作為孕育新兵的搖籃，並授予新人如朝陽般活力和愛國愛家熱忱，因此本作品藉由實踐「從軍夢」，以起承轉合鋪陳──軍事洗禮、紀律養成、嚴格訓練至捍衛家園為創作歷程。巨型陣列虎嘯的意象，猶如壯盛軍容與雄偉之勢，在經歲月淘洗後仍熠熠發光。運用耐候鋼板材將「鍛鍊成鋼」透過其材質體現，隨季節氣候產生不同的色彩表情，來表現過往前人們的根基與精神，搭配鏡面不鏽鋼相呼應，產生一種傳統與現代的視覺對話。

Introduction：
The main task of the unit is recruitment, breeding new soldiers and granting these young people the vitality and love of homeland. Therefore, to show the realization of an army dream, this work elucidates the theme with four phases： forging and trying, discipline and development, rigid training, and safeguarding homeland. The mass array of lion imagery represents the fierce and mighty posture of the soldiers that still shines after years. The use of weathering steel sheet is to indicate "；steel－making"；. It would produce different colors according to season or weather, expressing spirit of predecessors. Echoing with mirror－like stainless steel, a dialogue between traditional and modern times is opened.
