作品說明：
作品以名畫「創世紀」的概念為發想，由數以千計的元件所組成的碰觸之手，象徵著數位圖書館扮演的「知識傳遞者」與「創造者」的重要角色；由多國文字逐漸轉化為０、１的數位語言，其中漸進遞衍的姿態，藝術家將其比喻為「數位公共圖書館將帶領我們從傳統的知識傳遞模式，一同走向數位知識、網絡學習的進化世代」。藝術家期待透過作品「知識之光」的視覺意象，開創圖書館知識數位化的未來遠景。

Introduction：
The artwork is based on the concept of “centennial innovation”, and is composed with thousands of transparent units that have come to form the centennial hand symbolizing an important role of “knowledge transmission” and also as the “creator” of the digital library. The artwork is also comprised with binary codes derived from different languages around the world； its extensive form stands for the concept according to the artist as, “the digital library will lead us from the traditional way of transmitting knowledge to a brand new E－generation of digital knowledge and online－learning.” The artist expects that through the centennial hand to represent the visual impression of the “light of knowledge” and to build the future vision of digitalization of knowledge for the library.
