與自然共舞

作品說明：
”∞”在數學上指稱無限大的數，在拉丁文裡，在科學、神學與哲學上亦有無限與偉大之意涵。【與自然共舞】特以三組數學符號”∞”轉化交錯組成，象徵科博館引領民眾在生活裡以「自然」為師，探索無限趣味的科學精神，具有積極培養民眾科學素養與生活態度之意涵。【與自然共舞】以不鏽鋼打造優美的穿透線條，藉此展現出這個庭園空間的活力與躍動感，流暢活潑地呈現出無限自由的科學探索思路，象徵科學知識在這廣闊的園區裡自由成長，傳遞出清新美好與欣欣向榮的氣息！

Introduction：
The symbol ”∞” represents infinity in mathemetics. In Latin, in science, in theology, and in philosophy, this symbol also conveys the concept of endlessness and greatness. In this artwork, “Dancing with Nature”, three sets of symbol ”∞” are transformed and intertwined to express the way that National Museum of Natural Science guides visitors in learning from nature in daily life, exploring the fun of infinity with a scientific approach, and cultivating scientific knowledge and an attitude of curiosity toward life. “Dancing with Nature” was constructed with elegantly curving stainless steel with the intention of expressing the vitality and energy of this courtyard space. Its smooth and vivid shapes highlight the infinite freedom of scientific exploration, symbolizing the growth of scientific knowledge without limitation and convey an atmosphere that is fresh, beautiful, and rejuvenating!
