捲尺的秘密

作品說明：
這個作品是我們對於捲尺裡面神秘空間的想像，到學校受教育以前我們就像張白紙，學校像台列印機賦予我們做人處事的道理與知識。而我們可以看見捲尺前端列印出來的刻度是不均等的。代表了即便是一樣的課本，在師長的因材施教之下，我們都成為了獨一無二的自己。在作品中間，我們設計了一個書櫥，能夠與一旁的圖書館形成呼應，學生們可以在這裡進行書籍的交換，讓書籍能夠有效循環，促使這把知識的捲尺繼續轉動。

Introduction：
This work is our imagination of the mysterious space on the measuring tape. Before we received formal school edu-cation, we were like a blank sheet of paper. Like a print-er, the school “impressed” us with different kinds of knowledge and principles of conducts. Yet, we can see that the spaces on the measuring tape are unequal. It symboliz-es that the teacher instructs us in different ways accord-ing to our aptitudes, making each one of us unique individuals. In the center of the work, we designed a bookcase, where students can exchange books here, signifying that this measuring tape of knowledge can continuously rotates for good.
