作品說明：
2013年7月19日台中特教學校獨輪車隊十六名學生費時廿三天完成獨輪車1000公里環島之行！學校創立獨輪車，培養學生不怕跌倒、不怕失敗、堅持到底的精神，並建立自信心勇敢面對未來挑戰。作品以獨輪車作為創作主題，勾勒出獨輪車一路歷經彎延起伏迎向最終向希望未來的意像。畫面中獨輪車和曲折道路皆以低調的『剪影』的方式呈現，代表默默地經歷一路艱辛卻不以為苦，因為有象徵希望、夢想的彩色氣球一路相伴。也讓這『特力獨行』環島傳愛活動留下記錄。

Introduction：
On July 19, 2013, 16 students from the Taichung Special Education School unicycle team completed a 23 day journey around the island on their unicycles, covering 1,000 kilometers in the course of their odyssey. The school began this unicycle club as a means of training students to not be apprehensive about falling and to not fear failure. In addition the development of unicycle skills would foster a spirit of perseverance as well as build self－confidence and courage when facing Life’s future challenges. In selecting the unicycle for its artistic theme, this work delineates a unicycle which, after traveling a stretch of twisting bumpy road, finally emerges to be greeted by a promising future. In the composition, the unicycle and the winding road are presented in an unobtrusive “silhouette” fashion, signifying that the arduous journey has been endured with grace. Because they symbolize hope and dreams for the future, colorful balloons accompany them throughout the entire trip. This work will also serve to document the message of love spread by their “unparalleled” round－the－island excursion.
