創世紀─智慧樹

作品說明：
中文字是世界上仍舊在使用的最古老的文字，幾乎每一個字，都蘊含著深奧的智慧，提醒著人們為人處事的道理。作品《智慧樹》以一只燒瓶夾子夾住一株樹為發想，夾子為“甲子”的諧音，“甲”在中文除了位居首位的意思外，更有草木初生之孚之意，象徵著：「莘莘學子在學校師長的悉心培育下，猶如種子脫去束縛的皮殼，進而萌發、成長、茁壯，終將成果豐碩、霞光滿盈。」智慧浮現之祝福寓意。

Introduction：
Chinese characters are the most ancient form of written language still in use today. Almost every character contains profound wisdom, reminding people how to conduct themselves and deal with others. This artwork “Tree of Wisdom” was inspired by a flask clamp holding a tree. The Chinese term for flask clamp “夾子” is homonymous with “甲子”, in which “甲” not only means first, but also indicates the growth of grass and trees, symbolizing “students growing under teachers’ careful nurturing as if seeds removing their outer shell, sprouting, growing, maturing, and then yielding fruitful results.” Hence, this artwork has the implied meaning of a blessing for wisdom.
