本件造型抽象簡潔的白色大理石雕塑作品，以延綿流動不止的象徵符號隱喻「無限」的意涵，呼應本設置案位於臺中基地的策畫子題：超越文明──循環不已的能量。藝術家運用其擅長的媒材與雕塑技巧，特別為臺中區營業處挑高的大廳，創作這件雅致大器之作，當營業處的顧客靜候之際，可以坐在座椅上，悠閒地欣賞作品，黎志文深具文人氣質與東方哲思的雕塑，總能引發觀者沉澱冥想之領會。

Introduction：
Infinity is a white marble stone sculpture piece in abstractive and simple shape. The continuously－flowing symbolic code implies the context of “infinity,” which responses to the curatorial theme of this installation project for Taichung base, surpassing the civilization – energy in cycle. The artist creates this elegant and grand piece for the high－ceiling lobby of Taichung Operation Office, with his specialized medium and sculptural skills. While costumers visiting and waiting here, they could sit on chairs and appreciate this piece leisurely. Lai’s sculpture pieces with rich literali quality and eastern philosophy always inspire viewers for profound and poetic meditation and understanding.
