The public artwork, Tree, will be placed on campus, where its erect and graceful presence will resonate perfectly with the school’s principle of cultivating upright character and creativity among students. On the top branches, light reflected from colored leaves made of kiln-fired glass will symbolize the glorious school history from its founding, subsequent reorganization, up to, and including, the present. It is hoped that this work will inspire faculty and students to develop the habit of introspection and ceaselessly strive to improve their character, thereby together, creating a bright future for both the school and themselves.
