The pupal stage is a transitional stage butterflies pass through as they metamorphose from larva to adults. Although they stop feeding during this phase, very important changes are taking place. Their nascent wings gradually emerge from their bodies and develop into mature butterfly wings, as they wait for the proper time to breakout as adult butterflies. The educational environment at schools can be likened to the butterfly’s pupal stage. Students are like larvae waiting to begin pupation. After receiving a well-balanced education at school, the students transform into butterflies. They then soar high on their wings into the diverse world, and become pillars of society.
