In this work, Huang uses dandelions to represent a sustainable and beautiful world. The dandelion seeds stand poised to drift on the wind in search of a new world in which to take root and establish new life. In our daily lives, we depend on energy to keep us connected with the world and each other. Through subtle energy transmission or the use of renewable energy, we can realize both environmental protection and energy conservation, and discover a new starting point—the beginning of a new life.
The work is located near the park’s fallen torii gate. Seen from above, the world’s only horizontal torii appears to stand upright once more, representing the power of rebirth and belief.
