番仔火與培林的圓舞曲

作品說明：
以臺中市南區重要的文化資產－番仔火（火柴）作為主體的發想主軸，結合臺中高工校徽圖案的【中･工】兩個字以及作為圓周運動的齒輪，搭配以轉動的主要構件－培林（軸承）為工業教育持續發展前進的代表性；將優雅跳著圓舞曲的番仔火小人與旋轉姿態的動態感十足的培林兩者元素結合一起，以展現本校於臺灣工業史與在地化的歷史性、時代性與未來性。

Introduction：
Inspired by the important cultural asset of the South District of Taichung City－matchsticks, this piece incorporates the Chinese characters “Chung” and “Gong” form the emblem of Taichung Municipal Taichung Industrial High School, representing gears in a circular motion. It combines these with bearings, the primary rotating component ,symbolizing the continuous advancement of industrial education. The work merges the elegantly waltzing matchstick figures with the dynamic rotating posture of the bearings ,showcasing the historical, contemporary, and future significance of the school in Taiwan’s industrial history and regional context.
