This work was inspired by victory banners, with the three upward rotating shapes fluttering in the wind like the aforementioned banners, proudly displaying the unity of officers and soldiers that underpins their fighting spirit in the face of the enemy. As the viewing angle changes, space created by the kinetic energy and rhythm of the three spiral-shaped objects unfolds, the energy alluding to the way in which military units build up combat ability, while the the outward expanding space references the boundless combat capability of the armed forces. The work uses white to represent the pure nobility of patriotic sentiment, while the gold speaks to the glorious history of the military and the sense of honor members of the armed services carry with them. Through its full-angle view, the simple modern shape is juxtaposed with the magnificent brigade building, each adding to the splendor of the other and together with the unit greeting the first rays of sunlight and hoped for victory each day.
