Many students leave their homes for the first time when they enter the universities. To them, living in the dorm is the start of learning independence.Liquid-ambars planted around the dorm area are considered the “trees of the university” which have witnessed beautiful and romantic stories on campus over the years.Through a giant liquidambar tree scrambling from the first to the thir-teeth floors, we attempt to convey the characteristics of specialized research-es on agronomy, forestry and veterinary medicine at the National Chung Hsing University while the lives of female students in the dorm are woven into this installation of public art.
